I am Joy Eghebi, formerly known as Joy Akosa, and my journey as a seasoned digital marketing expert spans an impressive career of over 8 years. In 2012, I embarked on this path as a blogger, successfully running a gossip blog and YouTube channel until 2017. Recognizing the need for more substantial returns, I shifted my focus to growing social media followings, leveraging my journalism background to promote the work of celebrities.
In 2017, I founded JACBELL MEDIA, a digital marketing agency based in Lagos, where I proudly serve as the founder, overseeing all operations. Despite initial challenges with team dynamics, I successfully transformed team members into proficient digital marketing experts.
My literary prowess came to the forefront with my first book, “Social Media Marketing Challenges and Solutions,” which not only sold over 3000 copies but also laid the foundation for my subsequent ventures. In 2019, I established Legit Vendors Nigeria, a corporate organization fostering entrepreneurship development. With a membership of over seven thousand, the community offers digital marketing solutions to businesses across Africa, providing a supportive platform for growth. Simultaneously, I host the show “Know Your Legit Vendors,” showcasing entrepreneurs within the Legit Vendors community on YouTube.
As the Managing Director of JACBELL STOCKFISH VILLAGE, founded in June 2020, I oversee a retail business supplying foodstuffs in bulk to homes and restaurants globally. In 2021, I inaugurated JACBELL STUDIO, Nigeria’s first content creator studio, addressing a critical need for spaces to produce content. The studio officially expanded in 2022, coinciding with the launch of my second book, “No Bullshit Guide to Business,” which garnered significant success.
Recognizing the importance of implementation and accountability, I established the JACBELL PUSH GROUP in 2021, a community that has empowered over 10,000 entrepreneurs with marketing skills, sales strategies, and life-changing lessons.
As a serial entrepreneur, brand influencer, and seasoned coach, I have trained over 50,000 entrepreneurs, consistently employing quality digital marketing strategies to drive success. Looking ahead, my vision is to expand my content studio and push group to more African countries. Recently, I initiated a MENTEE COHORT, aiming to mentor 200 youths annually for free through practical guidance.
Through THE JACBELL INITIATIVE, a foundation I created, I contribute to the education of the less privileged, particularly children, and support startups. With a dedicated team of 25 employees, I remain committed to making a positive impact on businesses and lives.
